The Pakistan Airport Authority (PAA) has temporarily suspended flight operations at Lahore, Sialkot, Karachi, and Islamabad airports until 12 PM due to heightened regional tensions and operational concerns. The suspensions, especially in Lahore and Sialkot, follow increasing security risks after recent cross-border escalations with India.

Islamabad airport operations were also halted, citing operational reasons. Passengers are urged to remain in touch with their airlines for the latest flight schedule updates.

This move comes after Indian missile strikes targeted multiple locations in Pakistan earlier this week, prompting a brief national airspace closure. Though normal operations had resumed on Wednesday, the volatile situation led to another temporary suspension.

Pakistan’s military has claimed the downing of five Indian Air Force jets and a combat drone, along with the destruction of an Indian brigade HQ in retaliation.
