India launched a military drone attack on Pakistan last night, escalating tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbors. According to Pakistan’s military spokesperson, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif, India used Harop drones to strike multiple locations across the country.

Pakistan’s armed forces responded swiftly, successfully neutralizing 12 drones. One of the drones hit a military installation in Lahore, injuring four Pakistani soldiers. In Miano, a civilian was killed as a result of the strike.

Lt Gen Sharif confirmed that the drones were intercepted in various cities including Lahore, Gujranwala, Chakwal, Rawalpindi, Attock, Bahawalpur, Miano, and Chhor, preventing further damage and potential casualties.
