Pakistan has strongly condemned India’s repeated violations of its sovereignty, warning that New Delhi’s reckless and provocative actions are pushing the two nuclear-armed neighbours toward a major conflict.
Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan, during his weekly press briefing, called India’s conduct a “flagrant violation” of the UN Charter and international law. He stated that India’s war hysteria and irresponsible behaviour should alarm the global community.
“Since May 7, India has been violating Pakistan’s sovereignty. These attacks have severely threatened regional peace and stability,” Khan said. He emphasized that South Asia, home to over one-fifth of the global population, cannot afford India’s irresponsible actions.

He dismissed Indian claims linking Pakistan to the Pahalgam attack, calling them “absurd” and lacking credible evidence. Khan stressed that Pakistan had offered a transparent and independent investigation through neutral observers, but India chose aggression instead.
He also criticized India for its failure to cooperate in past investigations, such as the Mumbai and Pathankot attacks, where key Indian witnesses were never sent to Pakistan.
Highlighting India’s own record of supporting subversive activities in Pakistan, Khan pointed to the case of Kulbhushan Jadhav — an Indian Navy officer convicted of espionage and terrorism — as undeniable proof.
He condemned Indian strikes that led to civilian casualties and the destruction of mosques and infrastructure like the Neelum Jhelum Hydroelectric Project.
Khan further warned that India’s attempts to weaponize water by unilaterally suspending the Indus Waters Treaty were illegal and equivalent to economic aggression.
“India’s actions are destabilizing the region and contradict its historical commitments. Its hegemonic ambitions are undermining regional peace and cooperation,” he concluded.
