In an unprecedented move, India has reportedly suspended all air traffic at 32 major airports across the country until May 15. The decision follows a wave of precision strikes launched by the Pakistan Army under its ongoing military campaign, Operation Bunyan un Marsoos.

According to Indian media, the shutdown affects both civilian and commercial flights and is part of emergency protocols activated after Pakistan conducted 26 coordinated strikes on high-value Indian military targets. These included airbases, missile depots, and command centers.

The suspension of air traffic underscores the severity of the current military escalation between the two nuclear-armed neighbors. Pakistan has already issued a stern warning that any Indian retaliation will trigger a “swift and overwhelming” response.

As tensions continue to rise, regional and global powers are watching the situation closely, calling for restraint from both sides to prevent further destabilization.
