A deadly suicide attack struck Peshawar’s Ring Road near the livestock market on Sunday, killing two police officers and injuring three others. According to Media Sources, the attacker detonated explosives close to a police patrol vehicle, resulting in the tragic loss of a sub-inspector and a constable, who were later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Rescue 1122 confirmed the nature of the attack, stating that the bomber targeted a police mobile unit. Following the explosion, emergency responders and law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area, and forensic teams began gathering evidence. As of now, no group has claimed responsibility for the assault.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned the incident, paying tribute to the martyred officers and extending deep condolences to their families. He emphasized that the officers embraced martyrdom while fulfilling their duties and commended the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police for their ongoing sacrifices in the war against terrorism.
