According to an official notification released on Monday, Associate Degree exams in Arts, Science, and Commerce — including Special Category papers originally set for May 9 and 10 — will now be conducted on May 14 (Wednesday) and May 15 (Thursday). Additionally, BBA (Hons) written exams are rescheduled for May 15 and May 16.

Meanwhile, all public and private educational institutions across Punjab reopened on May 12, following a temporary closure due to regional military conflict. The shutdown, enforced on May 7, came after Indian missile and drone strikes targeted parts of Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), prompting authorities to suspend academic activities for safety reasons.
Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat confirmed the reopening, citing improved security conditions. “Student and staff safety is our priority. With stability returning, academic activities will proceed as scheduled,” he stated.
The conflict had also affected Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) exams, leading to postponements of several key subjects, including Quran translation, ethics, mathematics, biology, and multiple practicals across Lahore, Multan, and other areas.
