These events unfolded during Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, launched by Pakistan in response to Indian military strikes on May 6–7, which reportedly caused civilian casualties, including women and children.

Meanwhile, Indian users turned to Google in large numbers, with “Ceasefire meaning” topping search trends at over 10 million queries, followed by “Operation Sindoor” and “Mock Drill”.

In Pakistan, trending searches included “Islamabad Airport,” “JF-17 Thunder,” “DG ISPR,” “Dassault Aviation share price,” and Indian pilot “Shivangi Singh”.

During a press briefing, Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb revealed that the PAF carried out its largest airstrike on Indian airfields since the 1971 war. He emphasized the precision of the operation and its strict avoidance of civilian targets.

He stated, “The mission was executed on our terms, under clear instructions from the leadership,” adding that Pakistan’s radar and jamming systems intercepted multiple Indian drones targeting civilian areas.

Aurangzeb concluded, “India attempted to establish a ‘new normal’ through aggressive escalation. Pakistan’s swift and coordinated reply denied them that opportunity.”
