The Pakistani Rupee (PKR) closed slightly lower against the US Dollar (USD) on Thursday, ending the day at 281.66 in the interbank market—down by 0.02% or five paisas. The currency remained largely stable throughout the day, with interbank rates fluctuating between 281–282 and open market rates holding at 283. On a fiscal year-to-date basis, PKR has depreciated by 1.2% against the dollar.

Against other currencies, PKR mostly declined—losing one paisa each to the UAE Dirham (AED) and Saudi Riyal (SAR), 55 paisas to the Canadian Dollar (CAD), 38 paisas to the Euro (EUR), and Rs. 1.39 to the British Pound (GBP). However, it gained 71 paisas against the Australian Dollar (AUD).
