HMD Global is set to release the second-generation Vibe phone, the Vibe 2, an entry-level device with significant improvements over its predecessor. It will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage expandable up to 512GB via microSD. The phone sports a 6.67-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and HDR10 support.

The front camera jumps to a 50MP sensor from the original’s 5MP, while the rear houses a dual camera setup: a 50MP primary and a 2MP secondary sensor. The Vibe 2 is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging and runs Android 15 out of the box.

Compared to the first-generation Vibe’s 6.55-inch 720p LCD, 3GB/6GB RAM, and 4000mAh battery with 10W charging, the Vibe 2 offers clear upgrades but remains an affordable option aimed at the lower market segment, especially in the US. Pricing and release details are yet to be announced.
