Widespread Rain and Winds Forecast for Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Surrounding Regions

Residents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi are set to experience another spell of heavy winds and rainfall this week, as a fresh weather system moves into the region.

According to a weather advisory from the Met Office, widespread showers are expected not just in the twin cities but also in surrounding areas such as Murree, Galiyat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, and Sargodha. The wet conditions are predicted to extend further to Khushab, Mandi Bahauddin, Hafizabad, Gujrat, and Gujranwala.

Other major cities including Lahore, Mianwali, Sialkot, Narowal, Faisalabad, and Sheikhupura are also likely to receive rainfall. Isolated thunderstorms could develop in Jhang, Noorpur Thal, and Bhakkar.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), rain is expected in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Battagram, Swabi, and Mansehra, with showers also predicted for Abbottabad, Peshawar, Nowshera, Charsadda, Kurram, Khyber, Waziristan, and Bannu. Additional areas like Kohat, Hangu, Karak, and DI Khan may also experience precipitation.

Authorities are urging residents to remain vigilant and take all necessary precautions as weather conditions evolve throughout the week.
