Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced the launch of direct flights from Lahore to Paris, starting June 18, 2025.
According to a PIA spokesperson, the national airline will operate one weekly flight on the new Lahore–Paris route. This addition complements the existing two weekly flights already running between Islamabad and the French capital.
PIA stated that the new route is designed to offer greater convenience for travelers and contribute to foreign exchange inflows.

This development follows PIA’s recent resumption of its European operations earlier this year after a gap of four and a half years. The relaunch began with flight PK-749 from Islamabad to Paris, which carried 330 passengers and 14 crew members.
The inaugural event at Islamabad International Airport was attended by Aviation Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, PIA CEO Air Vice Marshal Amir Hayat, and senior officials from the Civil Aviation Authority and Pakistan Airport Authority.
Earlier, Parliamentary Secretary Zeb Jaffar shared that PIA has been operating profitably since March 2024.
