The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has officially declared summer vacations for all public and private schools across the province.
As per the notification issued by the KP Department of Education:

In summer zone (plain areas):

Primary schools will be closed from June 1 to August 31.

Middle, high, and higher secondary schools will observe holidays from June 15 to August 31.

In winter zone areas:

All schools will have summer holidays from July 1 to July 31, taking into account the diverse climatic conditions across the province.

Meanwhile, the Punjab government has also announced summer vacations due to the ongoing extreme heatwave. Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat confirmed that all schools in the province will commence their break from May 28.
To ensure student safety in the interim, the Punjab government has revised school hours. All institutions will operate from 7:30 am to 11:30 am until the holidays begin.
