The Pakistan Association Dubai (PAD), in collaboration with Emirates Loves and renowned artist Rubab Zahra, has made history by setting a new Guinness World Record for the world’s largest handprinted UAE flag.

This remarkable piece of art features 24,514 individual handprints from people representing over 100 different nationalities, capturing the UAE’s essence of unity, diversity, and inclusion. The initiative was part of the UAE’s Year of Community celebrations, designed to promote cultural harmony and a shared sense of belonging among the country’s residents.

The record-breaking flag was officially unveiled during a grand ceremony at the Pakistan Auditorium, PAD, on Thursday. A Guinness World Records adjudicator was present to authenticate the achievement, while more than 250 attendees witnessed the historic moment.

Prominent figures in attendance included Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Ambassador of Pakistan to the UAE, and Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai. Their presence underscored the significance of the event, both as a symbol of community spirit and as a testament to the deep-rooted ties between Pakistan and the UAE.

The initiative not only showcases the UAE’s multicultural identity but also highlights the powerful role of art and community collaboration in building bridges across cultures.
