She praised NAVTTC’s efforts under the URAAN Pakistan Programme, which provides futuristic skills like IT, AI, game development, and e-learning to diverse segments including madrassah students, girls, and differently-abled individuals.
Yang Guangyuan highlighted the event’s significance as the first job fair jointly organized by both nations, aligning with the second phase of CPEC, which focuses on industrial growth and job creation. He noted that several Chinese companies have shown interest in expanding operations in Pakistan, reinforcing the strong bilateral partnership.
Wang Huihua expressed gratitude to all attendees and pointed out that over 30,000 Pakistanis are currently employed by CCCPK member companies, thanks to CPEC’s positive impact not just in infrastructure and energy but also employment.
Gulmina Bilal thanked CCCPK and training providers for their collaboration, emphasizing that skill development is the cornerstone of progress—something Pakistan has learned from China’s rapid development. She shared plans to expand job fairs to other cities across Pakistan.
Sponsored by Tang International Education, ITMC Technology Co. Limited, UNI Services International (Pvt.) Limited, and City & Guilds, the fair offered a crucial platform for career counseling, resume collection, and on-site interviews.
A VIP round allowed government dignitaries to visit company stalls, engage with job seekers, and commend employers for their dedication to local hiring and knowledge transfer.
The event concluded on a high note, reaffirming the shared commitment of both nations to develop a skilled, empowered workforce through strategic partnerships and vocational development.
