Petroleum prices in Pakistan are expected to undergo a slight adjustment due to minor fluctuations in global oil markets.
Diesel prices could see a modest decrease of Rs. 0.28 per litre, while petrol may be reduced by Rs. 0.60 per litre. Currently, petrol is priced at Rs. 252.63 per litre, and high-speed diesel stands at Rs. 254.64 per litre. If the proposed changes are approved, the new rates would be Rs. 252.03 for petrol and Rs. 254.36 for diesel.
Meanwhile, kerosene prices are anticipated to rise by Rs. 0.30 per litre, bringing it to Rs. 164.96 per litre. Light Diesel Oil may see a larger increase of Rs. 1.30 per litre.

In the last price revision on April 15, petrol and high-speed diesel prices remained unchanged. Prior to that, the federal government had reduced both petrol and diesel prices by Rs. 2 per litre.
