The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced a significant academic initiative to appoint renowned Islamic scholars as heads of Seerat Chairs, aimed at fostering research and educational programs centered on the life and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), according to a report by 24NewsHD TV.
These Seerat Chairs have been established to provide scholarly insights and encourage academic work on the Prophet’s contributions to various aspects of life and society. According to HEC officials, nine scholars will be selected to lead chairs in distinct thematic disciplines, including:
