Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has officially granted permission for schools across the province to conduct one-month summer camps from June 16 to July 15.

The minister clarified that no school will be allowed to extend the camp beyond 30 days and emphasized that no additional fees may be charged to students participating in the camp.

To ensure student safety during the summer heat, schools must put in place proper heat protection measures. The camp hours have been set from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM, and wearing the school uniform will not be mandatory.

Importantly, attendance at the summer camps is not compulsory, and no student should be forced to attend. Schools with adequate facilities to manage the heat will be permitted to host these camps, including public schools.
