Following the official launch of Android 16 for Google Pixel devices last week, Motorola has now released an initial list of smartphones that will be receiving the new update. The list includes a mix of high-end foldables and mid-range offerings from both the Edge and Moto G series.
Motorola traditionally updates its Android support status through its official website, and the list is expected to expand over time. If your device isn’t listed yet, it may still become eligible later.
As of now, the following 29 Motorola devices have been confirmed for the Android 16 update:

ThinkPhone 25 by Motorola
Although this is the current list, several models are still missing, such as the Motorola Razr (2024) and the first-generation ThinkPhone, which are likely to be added in upcoming updates.
To verify your device’s eligibility, you can check Motorola’s official support website and search for your device under the “Next OS” section.
Motorola has not yet announced a specific rollout date for Android 16. While the brand’s update speeds have historically been slow, it showed some improvement with Android 15. Notably, Motorola has recently pledged up to 5 major Android updates for select models, signaling a more serious approach to long-term software support.
Despite this progress, Motorola still has work to do to make its update policy a standout feature, especially in a competitive Android ecosystem.
