The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has rolled out a major update to its Pak-ID mobile application, introducing new features that aim to streamline and digitize identity-related services for citizens both in Pakistan and abroad.

The updated version includes real-time ID tracking, facial biometric verification at the start of the application process, and an improved user interface for better navigation and ease of use.

Among the most user-friendly additions is the ability to view family member records without biometric verification and book appointments at NADRA centers directly through the app. These features are part of NADRA’s broader initiative to enhance public service delivery through digital transformation.

NADRA emphasized that the Pak-ID app helps users save time by allowing them to complete essential identity tasks from their homes, eliminating the need for physical visits to NADRA offices.

Additionally, the app now supports online fee payments, making it easier for both local and overseas Pakistanis to apply for services such as the Smart National Identity Card (SNIC), Child Registration Certificate (CRC), and Family Registration Certificate (FRC).

Citizens are encouraged to update their app immediately to benefit from the new tools. The Pak-ID app is available on both Android and iOS platforms.
