Islamabad International Airport will undergo multiple temporary flight suspensions in August as part of preparations for Pakistan’s Independence Day celebrations.
According to a notification from the Pakistan Airports Authority, both arrivals and departures will be halted at specific times to accommodate parade rehearsals.
A Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) specifies that no flights will operate between 8 pm and 10 pm on August 11, 12, and 13. Additional restrictions are planned from August 6 to 9 and again from August 11 to 14, including a significant pause from 11 am to 1 pm on selected days.
