Pakistani TV host and journalist Waseem Badami is currently unwell, as the Karachi-based media personality is suffering from both dengue fever and sinusitis.
The ARY News host shared a health update with his fans on social media, posting a picture of his hand with a cannula inserted. He revealed that he is experiencing high fever along with facial swelling caused by sinusitis, and appealed to his followers to remember him in their prayers for a swift and full recovery.

This comes as parts of Pakistan report a steady rise in dengue cases in 2025, with health authorities warning of its spread to multiple regions. Dozens of new infections have been confirmed in recent weeks, with several patients hospitalized while others remain under home treatment.
So far, no dengue-related deaths have been reported this year. Health experts are urging citizens to take preventive steps, including removing stagnant water from surroundings, using mosquito repellents, and adhering to official safety guidelines to curb the virus’s spread.
