Honor has officially launched the Magic V Flip 2 in China, marking its latest entry into the clamshell-style foldable smartphone market. Competing directly with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Motorola Razr 60 Ultra, the device brings standout features—most notably, the largest battery ever seen in a flip phone and a 200MP primary camera.

The Magic V Flip 2 features a 6.82-inch LTPO OLED inner display with a resolution of 2868 x 1232 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a staggering 5,000 nits peak brightness. The 4-inch cover display also uses LTPO OLED with 3600 nits peak brightness. It sports a sleek, lightweight design with IP58/IP59 durability ratings and comes in colors like Purple, Gray, White, and a Jimmy Choo Limited Edition Blue.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. It runs Android 15 with MagicOS 9.0.1, introducing AI enhancements and seamless multitasking. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, UWB, NFC, and dual SIM support.

The Magic V Flip 2 boasts a 200MP main rear camera with OIS and a 50MP ultrawide lens. On the inside, there’s a 50MP selfie camera, while the outer display allows for rear-camera selfies with high quality.

A standout feature is the 5,500 mAh silicon-carbon battery, making it the largest battery in a flip-style foldable. It supports 80W fast wired charging, 50W wireless, and reverse charging capabilities. It can charge up to 50% in under 20 minutes via wired connection.
