On Friday, the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) appreciated slightly by 02 paisa against the US Dollar (USD) in interbank trading, closing at Rs. 281.90, compared to the previous day’s rate of Rs. 281.92, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

The Euro saw a notable drop, declining by Rs. 1.74 to close at Rs. 326.84, down from Rs. 328.58.

The Japanese Yen also depreciated slightly, losing 02 paisa and ending the day at Rs. 1.89.

Meanwhile, the British Pound weakened by Rs. 1.81, closing at Rs. 377.93, compared to the previous rate of Rs. 379.74.

In the Gulf currencies, the Emirates Dirham remained unchanged at Rs. 76.75, while the Saudi Riyal saw a marginal increase of 01 paisa, ending the day at Rs. 75.13.

These fluctuations reflect ongoing market dynamics influenced by regional and global economic factors.
