Aleema Khan, sister of former Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan, faced an unexpected incident on Friday when eggs were hurled at her during a press talk outside Adiala Jail. One of the eggs hit her while she was addressing the media.
Following the incident, two women were taken into custody by the police and moved to the nearby Adiala police post. Tensions had already been rising during the press interaction, as journalists posed sharp questions to Aleema Khan, which sparked visible agitation among PTI supporters at the scene.
PTI leader Seemabia Tahir also intervened vocally during the exchange. However, Aleema Khan chose not to respond, quickly ending the press talk and leaving the area in her vehicle.

Before the disruption, Aleema Khan briefly stated to reporters:
“The winds have changed. People’s anger and fear are evident. They will not accept oppression.”
She reiterated that Imran Khan represents democracy and the rule of law, while accusing opposing forces of attempting to silence his voice.
The incident adds to the growing political tensions and charged atmosphere surrounding Imran Khan’s ongoing incarceration and the broader state of political affairs in Pakistan.
