The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced the temporary suspension of its flight operations to Canada for the current month.

According to PIA, this decision has been taken to carry out mandatory maintenance of its special Boeing 777 long-range aircraft, which are capable of flying non-stop for up to 17 hours across the Atlantic Ocean. Both aircraft will undergo a detailed three-week technical inspection and replacement of essential parts, a process required every 10 years to ensure safety and performance.
