The Government of Pakistan has announced an official educational visit to Türkiye for the top-performing students of Matric examinations from all boards, as confirmed by a circular issued by the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC).

Initiative Overview

This program, organized by the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training in collaboration with the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports, will enable students from Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISEs) nationwide to travel to Türkiye on official passports.

Key Requirements for Students

According to the advisory, selected students must meet the following conditions before departure:

  • Obtain a medical certificate from a government hospital confirming fitness for travel.
  • Submit written consent from parents or guardians for participation.
  • Arrange two white shalwar kameez suits with shoes, while a green blazer will be provided by the ministry.
  • Carry only one shoulder bag (laptops and cameras strictly prohibited).
  • Provide complete contact details of parents or guardians in advance.

Additionally, pick and drop expenses will be covered by the respective BISEs.

Deadline for Documentation

All boards have been directed to submit the passports and required documents of selected students to the IBCC Secretariat in Islamabad by September 19, 2025, for onward processing.

Supervision and Coordination

Chairpersons of all BISEs have been instructed to oversee smooth implementation of the program and guide students through documentation and travel arrangements.
