Federal Information Minister Faisal Karim Kundi has firmly dismissed claims that the government is planning to impose Governor’s Rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P). Speaking to the media on Wednesday, Kundi clarified that no such move is under consideration and that the federal government fully respects the constitutional rights of all provinces.
Kundi emphasized that political stability is a shared responsibility and that the government is committed to resolving differences through dialogue rather than administrative pressure. He urged the opposition to refrain from spreading misinformation and assured that the federation has no intention of interfering in the provincial government’s functioning.

He added that the priority of the federal government is to work collectively on economic recovery, security challenges, and public welfare rather than igniting political controversy. The minister reiterated that decisions affecting any province must be made under constitutional guidelines and in coordination with stakeholders.
Kundi also highlighted the importance of maintaining a cooperative relationship between the center and provinces, noting that political turbulence only harms national progress. He encouraged political parties to adopt a constructive approach for the sake of stability and development in the country.
