The Xiaomi 17, which debuted in China in September 2025, is generating excitement ahead of its global release. While Xiaomi has not officially confirmed a date, reports suggest the smartphone could launch internationally, including in Pakistan, in January 2026.
A Geekbench listing for the global model (25113PN0EC) revealed that the Xiaomi 17 will run Android 16 with 12GB of RAM. Benchmark scores showed 3,176 points in single-core and 10,010 points in multi-core tests, indicating top-tier performance.
Hardware is expected to mirror the Chinese version, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, a 6.3-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and energy-efficient technology. Photography capabilities may include a triple 50MP rear camera system and a 50MP front camera with AI enhancements.

The Xiaomi 17 is also expected to impress with a 7,000mAh battery supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, offering long usage and fast recharging. With powerful performance, premium display, strong cameras, and a massive battery, the Xiaomi 17 could become one of the most anticipated smartphone launches of early 2026.
