Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has hailed Pakistan as a true ally “until the Day of Judgment” during a naval handover ceremony, reaffirming the deep friendship between the two nations.

The announcement coincided with Türkiye officially delivering the second MILGEM‑class corvette warship, PNS Khaibar, to the Pakistan Navy, marking a major step in strengthening defence cooperation. Erdogan emphasized that the alliance is rooted in shared history, brotherhood, and mutual trust.

This delivery is part of a broader strategic partnership under which Türkiye is constructing four advanced naval vessels for Pakistan. The collaboration includes defence technology transfers, joint naval development, and efforts to enhance Pakistan’s maritime capabilities.

Erdogan highlighted that the relationship between Pakistan and Türkiye is not just strategic but enduring, symbolizing strong bilateral ties and long-term military cooperation.
