Authorities in Sindh have finalized a comprehensive security strategy to ensure the peaceful observance of Youm-e-Ali (RA) across the province, particularly in Karachi, where the main procession is expected to take place. The plan was reviewed during a high-level meeting chaired by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, with senior police and administrative officials in attendance.
According to officials, thousands of police personnel will be deployed across Sindh to maintain law and order during religious gatherings and processions marking the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Ali (RA). The deployment includes officers assigned to static duties, mobile patrols, pickets, and rapid response units to ensure public safety.
Security arrangements include enhanced surveillance through CCTV cameras, snipers positioned on high-rise buildings, and specialized bomb disposal squads. Law enforcement agencies have also been directed to carry out intelligence-based operations, snap checking, and flag marches around sensitive areas and along procession routes.

In Karachi, authorities have coordinated closely with city administration and emergency services to ensure smooth procession routes and preparedness for any emergency situation. Rescue teams and medical services will remain on standby to respond quickly if required.
Meanwhile, the Sindh government has also announced a public holiday for educational institutions to facilitate the observance of the religious occasion and support security arrangements across the province.
Officials emphasized that all law enforcement agencies and administrative departments will work in close coordination to ensure the safe and peaceful observance of Youm-e-Ali throughout Sindh.
