Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra owners, rejoice! Despite surpassing Samsung’s initial software support window, these phones won’t be abandoned when it comes to security. Samsung has announced a new update schedule for these models, transitioning from monthly to quarterly security patches. This means users can expect security updates every three months for an unspecified period.
However, the situation is a bit unclear for Galaxy S20 FE owners. While this model will continue to receive monthly security updates for the time being, it remains uncertain whether Samsung will extend support with quarterly updates after its four-year software support cycle concludes.
