Punjab Unveils Relief Package: Solar Power for Homes, Environmental Initiatives
Focus on Energy Relief:
- The Punjab cabinet approved providing solar systems to 4.5 million low-usage consumers (up to 500 units) to address rising electricity bills.
Education and Healthcare Updates:
- A standard version of the Quran was approved.
- The University of Health Sciences was appointed to conduct the MDCAT 2024 exam.
- A new method for appointing education department leaders was established.
- The two-year Pharmacy Assistant Course was abolished.
