In a landmark move to support the professional growth of emerging talent in the engineering sector, the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) has officially approved the establishment of the Young Engineers National Forum.
The decision was made during a recent meeting of the PEC Governing Body, aiming to provide a unified, structured, and representative platform for young engineers across the country. The forum will serve as a national network, bringing together associations of young engineers from various sectors to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.

The Young Engineers National Forum is designed to address the key challenges faced by young professionals in the field, while promoting leadership development and career advancement. It will host training programs, seminars, and conferences to equip young engineers with essential modern skills and industry insights.
Speaking on the occasion, PEC Chairman Engineer Waseem Nazir emphasized the crucial role young engineers play in Pakistan’s development. He stated that the forum will act as a transparent and dynamic voice for the youth, both locally and on international platforms. The initiative, he added, marks a major milestone for the country’s engineering community, opening up broader opportunities for young talent to thrive and represent Pakistan globally.
