Pakistan Railways has unveiled plans to install ATMs from multiple commercial banks at major railway stations across the country, aiming to enhance convenience for passengers.

According to a spokesperson, the initiative is already underway, with the first phase focusing on key railway stations. The project, carried out in collaboration with several banking institutions, will gradually expand to include additional locations nationwide.

The primary objective is to provide travelers with easy access to essential banking services—such as cash withdrawals and account management—while they are on the move.

Officials emphasized that this move aligns with Pakistan Railways’ broader strategy to improve passenger facilities by integrating practical services that enhance the overall travel experience.
