In light of the recent military escalation between Pakistan and India, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has postponed all intermediate and matriculation exams scheduled for today.
According to the BISE spokesperson, today’s exams included the Inter Part II Islamiyat (Elective) and Principles of Accounting theory papers, along with a Computer Science practical exam for Matric students. These exams were deferred due to the deteriorating regional security situation.

BISE Lahore Delays Exams Due to Heightened Pakistan-India Tensions
A new schedule for the postponed exams will be issued later.
The decision follows heightened tensions along the Line of Control after India conducted strikes on multiple locations in Pakistan. The strikes were reportedly in retaliation for the deaths of over two dozen tourists in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, an incident India blames on Pakistan—a charge Islamabad has firmly rejected.
In response, Pakistan’s armed forces carried out retaliatory strikes, downing five Indian Air Force jets, a drone, and destroying a brigade headquarters.
