Silver prices also declined, with per tola silver dropping by Rs. 17 to Rs. 3,400, and 10-gram silver slipping by Rs. 15 to Rs. 2,914.

The downward trend was mirrored in the global market, where gold prices slid 3 percent to a more than one-week low. The dip came after the United States and China announced a breakthrough agreement to reduce reciprocal tariffs, boosting investor confidence and reducing demand for safe-haven assets like gold.
