Following the Pahalgam terror attack, over 1.5 million Indian websites were targeted by Pakistani hackers as part of “Operation Sindoor,” according to Maharashtra Cyber. Seven Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) groups, including APT 36, Pakistan Cyber Force, and Team Insane PK, led the cyber offensive.

Despite the scale of the attack, only 150 incidents were successful — reflecting a 0.01% success rate. The majority of hacking attempts, including DDoS attacks and GPS spoofing, were unsuccessful, with no major damage to India’s critical infrastructure.

Maharashtra Cyber’s Yashasvi Yadav confirmed that while attacks declined following the India-Pakistan ceasefire, they have not completely stopped.
