Khuzdar School Bus Attack: Five Killed Including Children, Pakistan Blames Indian-Backed Militants
A tragic terrorist attack in Khuzdar, Balochistan, claimed the lives of at least five people, including three schoolchildren, after a school bus was targeted earlier today. Several other children were injured and are currently receiving medical treatment in nearby hospitals. Security forces and rescue teams quickly arrived at the scene, sealed off the area, and launched an investigation.
According to a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the assault was carried out by proxy militants allegedly backed by Indian intelligence agencies. The military said the attack was part of a broader effort to spread fear and destabilize the region following the failure of previous operations, such as Operation Bunyan-um-Masroor.
Security analysts believe such attacks are intended to undermine Pakistan’s internal stability by focusing on soft targets, especially in volatile regions like Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Officials claim that foreign-backed elements are engaging in state-sponsored terrorism aimed at innocent civilians, including children.

The Pakistan Armed Forces vowed to identify and bring to justice all those involved in the planning, execution, and support of the attack. “Using terrorism as an instrument of state policy is deplorable,” the ISPR stated. “The attackers and their sponsors will be pursued relentlessly and held accountable.”
The government has pledged to expose the alleged foreign involvement behind this act of terrorism at global forums. National leaders and civil society condemned the attack, offered condolences to the families of the victims, and reaffirmed support for the country’s armed forces.
