Pakistan has strongly reaffirmed its confidence in the integrity and strength of its nuclear security framework and command and control systems. The statement came from the Foreign Office in response to remarks by former U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton, who commented on Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s provocative claims regarding Pakistan’s nuclear weapons.
A spokesperson from the Foreign Office said it was ironic that Bolton’s remarks stemmed from a statement made by Rajnath Singh—a figure affiliated with a Hindu extremist group that frequently issues aggressive threats against Pakistan.
The spokesperson asserted that the global community should instead be concerned about India’s nuclear arsenal being controlled by individuals with a well-documented history of hostility toward Pakistan and Muslims, as well as a dangerously inflated sense of national power.

Further, Pakistan highlighted growing radicalization within India’s political environment, media, and social landscape as a genuine nuclear security risk. The spokesperson pointed to the ongoing presence of a nuclear black market in India and multiple reported incidents of stolen or illegally trafficked nuclear materials as evidence of serious vulnerabilities in India’s nuclear security regime.
