Pakistan has reached a major milestone in its digital journey, with mobile subscriptions surpassing 200 million. To celebrate this achievement, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has announced a special one-day offer for all telecom users in the country.

On June 20, 2025, subscribers will receive 2 GB of free data and 200 on-net minutes, valid for 24 hours. The offer can be activated by dialing *#2200# from any network.

According to the latest PTA statistics, mobile phone subscriptions have reached 197.7 million, with 80.30% of the population now enjoying access to mobile services. Additionally, broadband subscriptions have hit 150 million, while fixed-line telephone users stand at 3.75 million.

To commemorate this digital achievement, PTA is hosting a special ceremony at its headquarters in Islamabad. The event will bring together key players from the telecom industry, including mobile network operators (MNOs), mobile device manufacturers (MDMs), and senior government officials. Topics of discussion will include advancements in national connectivity and future plans for expanding digital services.

As part of the celebration, telecom operators will offer free data and voice bundles nationwide, while mobile device manufacturers are expected to contribute 10 to 15 mid-range smartphones. These will be distributed to attendees via a lucky draw, further enhancing public engagement in the initiative.
