OnePlus is reportedly preparing to enter the dedicated mobile gaming market with a new smartphone series tailored specifically for gamers. According to a leak from reliable tipster @heyitsyogesh on X, this upcoming lineup is still in its early development phase but is expected to feature top-tier specifications aimed at delivering an immersive gaming experience.
The gaming-focused smartphones will likely be equipped with flagship-grade chipsets—potentially the latest offerings from Qualcomm or MediaTek—paired with larger-than-usual batteries to support intense gameplay sessions. Key gaming enhancements are expected to include built-in shoulder triggers, a feature popularized by devices like the Nubia RedMagic series and Infinix GT 30 Pro, to give users a competitive edge.
While OnePlus’s existing Ace series is already well-optimized for performance—the Ace 3V previously topped AnTuTu’s benchmarks—this new series is poised to take things further. Rumors suggest it may include custom cooling systems and high-refresh-rate AMOLED displays, though official specifications remain undisclosed.

The new gaming lineup will initially be launched exclusively in China, aligning with OnePlus’s strategy of testing new concepts domestically before rolling them out globally. The phones are expected to be positioned above the Nord series in terms of pricing and could rival established gaming flagships such as the Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro and RedMagic 10 Pro.
Additionally, OnePlus is working on the upcoming OxygenOS 16, expected to launch next year. The software may introduce design changes and features specifically tailored to enhance the mobile gaming experience.
Although there is no confirmation yet on a global release, OnePlus has historically expanded experimental products internationally based on consumer demand.
