Tecno has officially launched its Spark 40 smartphone in Uganda, following several rumors about the upcoming Spark 40 series debuting in multiple markets. The Spark 40 brings an impressive mix of modern features including a 120Hz refresh rate, large battery, fast charging, and IP64 dust and water resistance, making it a solid contender in the budget smartphone segment.

The Spark 40 features a 6.67-inch LCD punch-hole display with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. For security, it includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and runs on Android 15 with HiOS 15.

Camera capabilities include a 50MP main rear sensor with LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera. On the audio front, it offers dual speakers with DTS Sound support for an immersive experience.

Powering the device is the MediaTek Helio G81 processor, coupled with up to 8GB RAM (expandable virtually by another 8GB) and up to 256GB storage. A robust 5,200mAh battery fuels the phone, supported by 45W fast charging to minimize downtime.
