In 2023, Oppo introduced the Find N3 Flip, a clamshell-style foldable phone. While the company has since focused on its book-style foldables — the latest being the Find N5 released earlier this year — it hasn’t released a new flip phone since. However, fresh leaks suggest that Oppo may re-enter the flip phone segment in 2026.
According to tipster Smart Pikachu, Oppo is currently developing its next-generation foldables. The upcoming Oppo Find N6 is rumored to be the world’s first foldable powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 (Elite 2) chipset. It’s also expected to feature a titanium-infused design, offering improved durability and a lighter build.

Reports indicate that the Find N6 will be even slimmer and lighter than its predecessor, the N5, which weighed 229g and measured just 4.2mm when unfolded. The Find N6 could debut in Q1 2026, possibly before the launch of the Find X9 Ultra in March 2026.
Additionally, Oppo is reportedly restarting the development of its compact clamshell foldables, pointing to a potential comeback in the flip phone market next year. While details remain scarce, it’s unclear whether the new flip device will carry the Find N6 Flip name or adopt a new branding altogether.
