Pakistani TikTok star Samiya Hijab has broken her silence on rumours surrounding her personal life, revealing that her ex-fiancé Hassan Zaid was behind the threats of kidnapping and murder she recently reported.

In a video statement, Samiya clarified that she ended her engagement after discovering “disturbing truths” about Hassan. She said she refused financial support from him and dismissed claims that she was seeking attention, despite circulating videos showing her with gifts.

Samiya highlighted the hypocrisy of public perception, saying that if she had been killed like her late friend Sana Yousuf, she would have been met with sympathy — but since she is alive, she faces scrutiny and accusations instead.

She emphasized that every woman has the right to safety, regardless of being in a relationship, and condemned forced abductions. Samiya also shared a video where Hassan allegedly snatched her phone, shoved her, and tried to abduct her.

Expressing her emotional distress, the influencer urged authorities to ensure justice and called on the public not to jump to conclusions without knowing the full story.
