Pakistan’s U19 women’s cricket team began their T20 series on a winning note, defeating Bangladesh U19 by 13 runs in the opening match at Cox’s Bazar Academy Ground.
Batting first, Pakistan were bowled out for 88 in 19.4 overs. Eman top-scored with a crucial 30 off 41 balls, followed by Areesha with 22 and Ravail Farhan with 10. Bangladesh kept Pakistan under pressure throughout the innings, with Labonno picking up 4 for 14, Pinky taking 2 wickets, and Farjana claiming 1.
Chasing 89, Bangladesh fought hard but fell short, managing only 75 in 19.5 overs. Aritra (20 off 38), Sadia (16 off 20), and Boby (13 off 18) were the notable contributors, but Pakistan’s bowlers held firm.

Shahar Bano starred with the ball, taking 3 for 27, while Rozina (2 for 5) and Mamoona Khalid (2 for 13) delivered key breakthroughs.
With the 13-run win, Pakistan U19 take a 1–0 lead in the five-match series. The remaining fixtures are scheduled for December 5, 7, 9, and 12. Both teams are expected to rotate players to provide emerging talent with valuable match exposure.
