The top 12 athletes advanced to the final, with five out of six throwers from Group B qualifying directly. This victory is a landmark achievement for Pakistan, earning the nation its first individual Olympic gold and its first individual medal since 1988.
Nadeem’s historic triumph has elevated him to the status of a national hero, inspiring future generations of Pakistani athletes. In his fourth throw, Nadeem recorded 79.40 meters as he edged closer to Olympic glory.
