Big Bird Foods Limited (PSX: BBFL) has entered into a strategic agreement with Alibaba Group, the global e-commerce and technology giant, to boost its international footprint through Alibaba’s B2B e-commerce platforms.

In a filing to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Tuesday, BBFL announced that the partnership will enable the company to directly export its poultry and processed food products to verified buyers in over 190 countries via platforms such as Alibaba.com.

The company hailed the agreement as a key milestone in its global expansion plan. It provides BBFL with direct access to the global poultry meat market, which is valued at more than USD 350 billion annually and continues to grow with rising demand for affordable protein.

Through this collaboration, BBFL will gain access to Alibaba’s extensive international buyer network, participate in online trade exhibitions, receive enhanced logistics support for cross-border commerce, and leverage valuable market insights and trend analysis to optimize its export strategy.
