Director General of IT-Operations at Punjab Information Technology Board, Faisal Yousaf, has been appointed to the additional responsibility of Chairman Punjab IT Board effective January 13, 2023.

Over the course of his 24-year career, he has developed a significant portfolio of experience.

There has been credit given to Faisal Yousaf for initiating cutting-edge technology interventions for the Punjab government, a number of which have been adopted by other provinces as well.

It was during Faisal Yousaf’s tenure as DG PITB that he spearheaded the digitization of both the back office and front end service delivery for multiple government departments, including Finance, Law and Order, Health, Agriculture, and Labour & Human Resources.

e-Pay Punjab, an initiative that aims to digitize the province’s financial ecosystem, was his crowning achievement.

A payment aggregator was implemented in the province for the first time and since then has enabled the collection of more than PKR 135 billion. Various government levies and taxes are being replaced by this method. He has gained global recognition for the Dengue Tracking System he developed under his supervision.
