London-based tech brand Nothing recently introduced its budget-range device, the Nothing Phone (2a), across several markets, including India. Upon launch, the phone encountered performance and camera issues, but subsequent updates have resolved many of these issues. However, the notorious “green line issue” has emerged on the Phone (2a).

SMIC has been a crucial manufacturer for Huawei’s Kirin chips, such as the Kirin 9000S and 9010 found in the Huawei Pura series, both utilizing a 7nm process. Reports from Business Korea and Hankyung now indicate that SMIC has achieved a significant milestone by successfully developing a 5nm chip production process. This achievement means that their 5nm process is now ready for chip manufacturing.
