Gold prices in Pakistan extended their upward momentum on Wednesday, echoing gains in the international market and signaling heightened investor interest.

In the domestic market, the price of gold per tola jumped by Rs. 2,300, bringing the new rate to Rs. 438,862. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs. 1,972, reaching Rs. 376,253, according to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

This rise follows a strong rally a day earlier, when gold prices surged by Rs. 7,700 per tola, closing at Rs. 436,562 on Tuesday.

Internationally, gold also saw a notable increase as prices climbed by $23, reaching $4,165 per ounce, including a $20 premium.

Silver prices moved upward as well, with the rate per tola increasing by Rs. 60, now standing at Rs. 5,482.
